I can’t believe I’m actually writing a blog right now…. It’s been soooooooo long and I’ve missed blogging and have missed reading you all’s blog as well. So, much has gone on and I have to catch you up on birthday parties, summer fun, D.I.Y activities, and so on. However, I’ll just start with our visit with Priscilla the Pink Pig.
Here in Atlanta it is a tradition to visit the “Pink Pig” at Lenox mall but on November 16, 2013 that would be me and my family’s first time going and it was an amazing experience. I loved the unique atmosphere and most of all, creating a family tradition for me, my mom, and my girls.
My mom called and said I want to take you and the girls to see the pink pig and we went to the special event “breakfast” they have each year. For the full Priscilla experience that included breakfast it was $16.99 for the adults and I believe it was $12.99 for the girls.
Breakfast started at 8:30 am so when we arrived there were 2 white tents one small and the other large. In the small tent that’s where the face painting, breakfast, and Priscilla were. We were seated and served breakfast. We had pink pancakes, turkey sausage links, cheese eggs, gummy piglets, yogurt parfait, and apple juice capri suns, and of course hot chocolate because it was so cold:) The breakfast wasn’t that good but I didn’t complain because I was happy to be there!
We all were presented with a pink bag with coupons and a book of the history of the pig. After Breakfast we took pictures with Priscilla and the girls got there faces painted. Next, we go to the larger tent and that’s where the souvenir shop and the pink pig ride was held. We rode the pig and while you’re riding the pink pig she gives you a history of her life story. When it was all over me and mom bought tshirts and ornaments and the girls each got a pig.
If you’re ever visiting Atlanta in Nov or Dec please go stop by and visit Priscilla. You will definitely enjoy it!!
Thanks for reading & be on the look out for what’s been going on with me… I have a ton of updates:)
